When no more combinations summing to 10 can be formed (deadlock), an automatic reshuffle occurs. The remaining apples are randomly rearranged, giving you new combination opportunities. Reshuffles happen more frequently with fewer apples remaining, so removing as many apples as possible helps avoid deadlocks.

Selecting many apples at once is key. Find combinations like 2+3+5=10 (3 apples) or 1+2+3+4=10 (4 apples) to rack up points. Develop a habit of scanning the whole board and finding large combinations first. When time is running low, quickly use 2-apple combos (1+9, 2+8, 3+7...) aggressively.
